Jeff Strauss has fought on behalf of his clients for over 34 years.  A seasoned litigator, Mr. Strauss brings decades of trial experience and precision to each case. Mr. Strauss has a record of impressive results on behalf of his clients, with several verdicts and settlements ranking among the largest in the state and nation. In addition to being a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, Mr. Strauss obtained a Masters in Health Sciences which allows him a keen understanding of medical science and injuries.  Mr. Strauss’s track record of honest, hard-working, zealous representation has earned him trust and respect in the legal community and the appreciation of satisfied clients.  
Mr. Strauss began his legal career working for the U.S. Department of Human Services Office of General Counsel in New York City. He then associated with law firms specializing in substantial injury and death cases due to Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, Industrial and Construction accidents and Serious Car or Truck Crashes. He founded Strauss Law Offices is 2012.

Proven Results

  • $21 million jury verdict involving inflicted brain injuries on an infant by foster parents (one of the largest verdicts in the nation in 2006).

  • $15 million settlement for substantial brain injury case (one of the largest medical malpractice recoveries in New Jersey between 2015 and 2016)

  • $3 million settlement for a brain injury matter in New York State (2013)

  • $1.31 million jury verdict for New Jersey Medical Malpractice Matter involving gallbladder surgery

Additional Information

Mr. Strauss is deeply involved in his community and has served as an elected member of the Scotch Plains Township Council, a four-year post. He serves as a Trustee for the Scotch Plains Senior Citizen Housing Corporation and as a long-time member of the Scotch Plains Planning Board.  Previously, he served on the Fanwood Zoning and Planning Boards and has been involved in numerous community and sports organizations.
